After much anticipation and rumours, Moto Guzzi have finally revealed the return of the Stelvio, an all new and updated adventure bike, and is set for a public showcase at the EICMA show in Milan next month. The new model from the Mandello del Lario Brand takes up the name from one of the highest mountain passes in Europe, located in Italy and close to the Swiss border: the Stelvio. Famous for its twisty and scenic roads, the Stelvio Pass is considered one of the most desired destinations for motorcycle riders.
The Stelvio visually combines Moto Guzzi's mantra of beauty and functionality in a distinctive & aggressive muscular style reminiscent of its siblings such as the V7 Stone, V85 & most notably, the V100 Mandello. Powering the new bike is the V-Twin "Compact Block" engine with shaft drive (Previously introduced by the V100 Mandello) meaning around 115bhp from its 1042cc output and complies with Euro 5 emissions. The Stelvio will also be backed by a whole suite of electronics for an exceptional riding experience with safety over long distance being a key focus point for Moto Guzzi. One of the key features developed for the Stelvio is PFF Rider Assistance Solution as a factory option which includes the following; Following Cruise Control (FCC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Blind Spot Information (BLIS) and Lange Change Assist (LCA) to guarantee the highles level of safety while riding. The Stelvio will also be the the only adventure bike in its segment with an electrically adjustable screen, while the cruise control comes with 5 riding modes as standard.
The brand new Stelvio will also launch with a dedicated range of accessories that have been specifically developed to improve touring capabilities, comfort, protect, safety, functionality as well as performance. Moto Guzzi have also developed a versatile range of riding items designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding adventurers.
At EICMA next month, the new adventure tourer will make its first appearance at a major public event, ahead of its anticipated arrival in showrooms next year.
